San Francisco based CD and DVD Duplication company, DVD Copycat, Inc.(http://www.dvdcopycat.com) has cut their printing waste 90% by updating their short run insert printing to solid ink print technology.
“Having a business in the Bay Area, and being an avid hiker and cyclist myself, I am always aware of the potential impact we may have on the environment.” says Brian Fisher, Founder of DVD Copycat. “At DVD Copycat we make a strong effort to minimize that impact through re-cycling our waste and finding improved processes like this new printing method. These green practices help keep the Bay Area and our State clean, safe, and beautiful. It is my goal to continually embrace technology that will make us a productive and responsible manufacturer of CD and DVD products, while respecting the environment that nourishes us when our work day is done.”
In comparison to our old conventional printer, the new printer’s ink-to-page toner efficiency is nearly 100% and there are no Cartridges, Fuser Roll or Imaging Unit to dispose of.
The end result is that this new printing method is environmentally safe, and reduces our printer waste output by 90%.
